The student of the Indonesian Teknokrat University again showed a remarkable achievement in the event of the Sumatra S02023 Sumatra XI University of Pekanbaru, Riau, on 4 - 14 November 2023. Biqram Anwar, a student of the UTI Sports Studies Studies Program, managed to bring home a silver medal at Wushu Sanda sports branch. More than 35 athletes from various provinces in Sumatra compete in this branch. Biqram won a silver medal after representing Lampung Province in the U-70kg class. The first position is won by the South Sumatra athletes, while the Riau athletes take third place. The vice president of the Indonesian University of Teknocrat, Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE., MM, relays the great pride and appreciation of Biqram's achievement at the Wushu Sanda branch. "This feat is the result of hard work, dedication and the spirit of Wushu's Wushu Athletes University of Indonesia. We hope that this success can be an inspiration for other students to continue to achieve both academics and non-academics, and to motivate them to continue to expand and practice for the pride of the Lampung Province and the University of Indonesian Teknokrat at the national level," says Dr. Mahathir.
